Terms of trade

Empty handicapped parking space with bright yellow markings and a white utility truck nearby.

The following are the terms of trade for High Pressure Linemarking Pty Ltd.

In short; We will communicate, turn up, then provide excellent workmanship using high quality materials, equipment and methods which we stand behind. The job will be perfect when we depart.

Therefore, we would like to be paid.

Acceptance of terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of High Pressure Line Marking Pty Ltd ("HPLM", "We", "Our") services and website. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Site access and client obligations

The Client must provide safe and clear access to the work site ensuring it is clear of obstructions, debris and immovable vehicles.

Returning to site to complete work that was previously obstructed, inaccessible or wet will incur an additional call-out fee.

The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals for the line-marking work.

Quotations & Pricing, Deposits, & Payment

Quotations provided by HPLM are valid for 90 days days from the issue date.

All prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

With prior notice to the client, HPLM reserves the right to adjust prices based on material costs, labour rates and work scope when site conditions differ materially from the quoted description.

Additional work beyond the original scope will be quoted separately before commencement.

Any existing markings requiring removal should be identified during the quoting process.

We will notify you of any surface preparation recommendations during the quoting process.

Repeat clients will be exempted from deposits once a positive relationship is established.

At HPLM's discretion, new clients are required to make a deposit of generally 40% to book a call-out. Any deposits made will be deducted from the final invoice total.

Payment of the quoted cost in full plus any charges for additional work, less any deposit is required on job completion.

Any deviation from this must be agreed in writing prior to quotation acceptance.

Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 2% per month on outstanding amounts.

Any costs incurred by HPLM for debt recovery will be charged to the client in addition to the original debt and interest owing.

We reserve the right to suspend work if payment terms are not met.

Site inductions and time spent onsite waiting for worksite access or authorisation to commence work shall incur the charge of $65 per man, per hour.

A call-out fee will be charged for booked site visits where we are unable to complete the work due to circumstances beyond HPLM's anticipation or control.

Cancellations after work has commenced will incur the charge for callout and work completed plus materials ordered.

HPLM accepts Bank transfer and cash.

Weather and delays

Line marking work is weather-dependent. We cannot warranty any markings applied in wet conditions.

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to adverse weather without penalty.

We will communicate any weather-related delays promptly.

HPLM will not be held liable for any issues resulting from weather delays.

Guarantee of workmanship

We guarantee that all work will be perfect when we leave the site!

All work will be measured out, applied and completed exactly to specification.

Any rectifications for our errors or omissions will incur no cost to the client.

Warranty of markings and products

6 months warranty is provided for all Chlorinated Rubber and Waterborne paints.

12 months warranty is provided for all Epoxies and Thermoplastics applied.

This is conditional on the surface preparation recommended by HPLM being done.

Warranties on furniture and hardware vary, but are as the manufacturer provides.

Warranty does not cover damage from vehicle traffic and tyre spin, chemical spills, third-party actions and the "expected wear and tear" on paints.

For warranty claims, contact us within 7 days of noticing an issue.
